Student Fundraisers reach for the phones

This weekend, a number of current students will start telephoning former students to invite them to donate to the Old College Project, or if they prefer, to the Aber Fund for student hardship, wellbeing and opportunities. The OSA has promised match funding of up to £5000, but the hope is to exceed this target significantly. Every little counts, so small donations are as welcome as larger individual sums on a one off or regular basis. The regeneration of Old College, the building which the OSA was founded to rescue nearly 130 years ago, will be an important new centre for the University and its alumni, and the community and visitors. In previous campaigns, some interesting stories have emerged from chats between current and former students, cementing the strong Aber Spirit across generations and disciplines.
